Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive In Ho Chi Minh City (L)

Our representative will welcome you at HCM airport, and then transfer you to the hotel in the city center.

We start to explore HCMC with the local lunch. Taste the famous noodle soup of Vietnam – Pho and a local beer.

We then visit the Reunification Hall which was the residence of Ngo Dinh Diem who is the President of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s – Apr 1975s). You will see formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, and war situation rooms with 10 meter under the earth’s level. This hall still takes important roles in the life of HCMC. Our guide introduces you to the historical facts about this building.

Then, we come to some French colonial style including:
+ The Notre Dame Cathedral which is located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s;
+ General Post Office which was designed by Gustav Eiffel;
+ The Post Office built in the late 1800s.
+ The City Hall which many guests find out the great spot to take picture to remember HCMC. The hall was built in the early 1900s.

Day 2: HCMC to Mekong Delta – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B, L)

In the morning, we will start the journey to the Mekong Delta which is a famous destination for the guests after visiting HCMC. This area takes very important roles, and is considered as a rice granary of Vietnam.

We transport to My Tho, and then get on the board of a wooden motor boat to visit the Unicorn Island. A long the river, you go through small cannels and tranquil countryside.

The first stop of the journey is to visit a orchard with many tropical trees and tasty fruits.

The next place around 1 hour to drive is a Turtle Island at Ben Tre. And, use small rowing boat through canals. The rowing boats are the popular local transportation which the local people use to move in this area.

We stop at a bee farm where you have a good chance to taste a cup of honey tea, visit coconut candy factory to see how to make the candies. Some local people make candies while many other villagers make some useful products from the coconut fruits and trees.

Then, we come back the car to transfer to Can Tho to stay overnight.

Day 3: Can Tho to visit Cai Rang Floating Market – HCMC (B)

After breakfast at hotel, we take a boat for visiting famous floating market in Mekong Delta – Cai Rang Floating Market.

After visiting the market and daily life of the local people on the rivers, we will transfer back HCMC.

Stay overnight in HCMC.

Day 4: HCMC- Cao Dai Temple & Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)

Today, our excursion goes to Cai Dai and Cu Chi Tunnels.

We will start from the hotel to Cao Dai in Tay Ninh Province which is 95km from HCMC, near Cambodia border.The Cao Dai Temple is very colorful with great internal an external decoration.

You can find multi-colored dragons which have different shapes and sizes. You also see above the main entrance is the holy eye – the symbol of the Cao Dai religion. Many statues of the gods can be found here as well.

After lunch, we leave Tay Ninh Province, and continue the journey to Cu Chi Tunnels. These are the system of underground tunnels which were use by the guerillas during the war in Vietnam.

The guide will show you their history, the special design of the tunnels, and traps. Take this chance to crawl inside the tunnels to understand how hard to live in the tunnels.

We drive back HCMC to relax. Sleep overnight in HCMC.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)

You have your own time to explore HCMC by yourselves. You can walk along the streets to take pictures, go shopping at Ben Thanh Market, taste a cup of coffee, or relax at the hotel.
On time, we will come to pick you up to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure to back home, or to the next destinations to continue your journeys.
