Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in HCMC (D)

Our representative will welcome you at the Tan Son Nhat Airport. We then transfer to the hotel in the city center. You take your time to relax before going to have the first dinner in Vietnam at the local restaurant.

Stay overnight in HCMC.

Day 2: HCMC tour (B, L)

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named Saigon is the biggest city of Vietnam. This tour will cover almost the main destinations.

We will learn a lot history, culture and lifestyle at:
+ The War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace,
+ The Thien Hau Pagoda,
+ French-colonial architecture at the General Post Office, Opera House and Notre Dame Cathedral,
+ The narrow maze of streets in Chinatown.

Before coming back the hotel, we visit the museum of traditional Vietnamese medicine FITO which is the focus of this eclectic museum with a replica pharmacy. You will learn basic about the way using traditional medicine from trees, herb, and vegetables.

Day 3: HCMC – Cu Chi Tunnel & Motorbike Tour with the local food (B, D)

Our local tour guide and the driver meet you at the hotel, and then head to the Cu Chi tunnels which is the big underground system. Along the way, you go pass the peaceful countryside and rice paddies.

We will see survival skills and strong spirit of people living during the war in Vietnam. You have a chance to go under grounds to get experience the hard life of the local people. See many relics left from the war: bombs, tanks, mantraps or bomb craters.

Then, we go back HCM to relax.

At 6:00pm, we take a night excursion to explore HCMC with the local food on the back of motorbikes (the local riders will ride you on the back seats). These motorbikes are main transportation for the Saigon people. You see thousands of motorbikes running on the streets from the early morning to the midnight.

We start to taste the local food Banh Xeo – Pancake at famous local restaurant in the city. Then, we experience the active nightlife of Saigon with the way locals do. Ride through the Chinatown and pass busy streets to the lovely coffee shop to taste Vietnamese coffee. All your family will have interesting feelings with our safe tour at night to understand more HCMC.

We finish the ride at your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel in HCMC.

Day 4: HCMC – Mekong Delta (My Tho – Can Tho) (B, L, D)

Today tour will explore Mekong Delta which has typical life on the water.

We travel from HCMC to My Tho. We then take a boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal; you can see the fruit plantation along the river sides. We stop to visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Then, proceed to the Tortoise Island.

Have lunch in the garden of the orchard.

We will take the boat to through the natural canal in Ben Tre, go under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family where you can experience their daily work with the peaceful life.

After this, we come back the car to drive to Can Tho

Day 5: Floating market – HCMC – Fly to Danang, transfer to Hoi An (B, L)

We start the day a little earlier at 7:00am. This time is good to visit Cai Rang Floating Market that is one of the best famous markets in Mekong Delta.

A boat will run to the market, you will get chance to learn the different way to buy and sell the local products. The sellers use a tall pole to hang what they have on; the buyers will see them to find what they need, and come to buy. All these activities act on the rivers.

After that, we will come to some the small cannels to explore more the local life. Stop at on fruit garden to taste some fruits.

Back the hotel and relax.

On time, we will transfer you to the airport of Can Tho to fly to Danang City.

At Danang airport, our representative will welcome you to drive to Hoi An City.

Day 6: Hoi An bicycle tour & cooking class (B, L or D)

Another interesting day waits for your family. We start today with bicycle to explore the countryside and the city (If one of you cannot or do not want to use bicycle, we will use a motorbike with a rider instead).

We will visit the colorful market to experience the sights, sounds, and aromas of Hoi An. You will have the opportunity to interact with local sellers.

Then, continue ride through the old city to visit ancient house Tan Ky and Japanese Bridge. There are a lot of chances to take picture during this activity.

After that, ride through the countryside to Tra Que Village to join the cooking class. When you come to the village, you are welcome with the cold fresh drink, take a look the organic gardens with many kinds of vegetables.

Join the cooking activities with the chef. Fun activity makes your children love it and exciting. Have lunch with what we cook and more. And, ride back the hotel.

Day 7: Farmer & Fishing eco-tour in Hoi An (B, L)

Fishing is one of the main economy in Hoi An as well as in Vietnam. Modern and traditional ways to catch fishes are popularly used. Today, you will join the fun activity with traditional fishing methods to use the round boat to catch fishes.

We learn how to throw the net, row a round boat, and use fishing traps.

Have lunch with the local food and go back the hotel. You will have your own time to go shopping in Hoi An ancient city, or relax at the beach or swimming pool.

Day 8: Hoi An – Danang – Fly to Hanoi (B)

Your family enjoys your leisure. Then, we transfer to Danang for the flight to Hanoi.
When coming to Noi Bai airport, the driver takes us to the hotel.

Day 9: Hanoi city tour (B, L)

Today, you discover the capital of Vietnam. Hanoi has rich history with the mix of modern and traditional life.

First, we will come to the Ho Chi Minh complex where we will spend time to visit the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda.

Then, we travel to the Museum of Ethnology. At the museum, many relics of the ethnic groups of Vietnam are displayed. Visit the museum to have overview of development of the Vietnamese Vietnam.

We enjoy a 1-hour cyclo tour through the part of French style of buildings. Our lunch will be at KOTO restaurant founded by Vietnamese Australian Jimmy Pham, is a non-profit organization which is run by local children who Jimmy recruited from the streets.

Day 10: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B,L)

Out of the noise and dust of the city, we travel to Mai Chau valley to feel the fresh nature, scenery and cultural characteristics of ethnic people here. Mai Chau district is located in a valley with the green fields.

8:00 AM: Car and guide pick you up in Hanoi to start the journey to Mai Chau. On the way, stop sightseeing and take pictures of the Thung Khe Pass. You have the opportunity to admire the beautiful scenic valley and peaceful mountains.

Have lun at the village. Then, visit Lac village which the home of Thai ethnic group before transferring to the hotel to check in and relax.

Day 11: Mai Chau – Ninh Binh (B, L)

After breakfast, we will take a trek around 7km, walking from Lac Village to Poom Cong and Na Pa. Walking tour ends at Mai Chau market. If you cannot walk we can use the car.

We have lunch, and then you will take a rest before transferring to Ninh Binh.

Day 12: Ninh Binh – Tam Coc – Bai Dinh Pagoda (B,L)

We start a little late today. We will explore the highlights of Ninh Binh including Tam Coc and Bai Dinh Pagoda.

Visit Tam Coc: Tam Coc means “Three caves” which has only one way to come to visit, that is the water way. Thus, we will take about 1.5 – 2 hours to explore these caves. The way to the caves has amazing landscape created by the mountains, rice fields and the Ngo Dong River.

We have lunch with the local food of Ninh Binh.

Then, visit Bai Dinh Pagoda: The pagoda is a large pagoda complex known in Vietnam and Asia. It also has the largest Buddhist statue in Vietnam. Coming to the pagoda, you will see great views of the mountains. And, this chance is good to do exercise. Climb up many steps to explore the beauty of the pagoda.

Come back the hotel to relax in Ninh Binh.

Day 13: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Early morning, we will transfer to Halong Bay to explore amazing landscapes in the north of Vietnam.
Upon arrival, we will board on the selected cruise enjoy the overnight excursion in Halong Bay. While cruising, you will discover a nice cave, village fishing village, and swimming.

Lunch and dinner of today are served on the cruise ship with the seafood.

Day 14: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

After welcoming the peaceful morning, breakfast will be served whilst watching the sun rise. Continue cruising around this amazing the bay and explore more incredible views which are created by thousands of islands and the sea.

After lunch, we will transfer back Hanoi.

Tonight, the optional choice for you is to see Water Puppet show and or to walk by yourselves along Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy fresh air.

Day 15: Hanoi Departure (B)

You take your own time to go shopping and take pictures of Hanoi life. On time, we will drive you to Noi Bai Aiport for your flight.
