Itinerary

Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival day

You are welcome at the airport in Phnom Penh to transfer to the hotel in the city. You take your own time to relax.

Day 2: Phnom Penh city tour(B,L)

We will take a cyclo to ride through the streets of the city. We will pass many famous attractions of Phnom Penh. The cyclo stops at the Central Market, which is colorful market to learn the daily culture of Cambodian.

We travel to Tuol Sleng Museum and the Killing Fields memorial at Choeng Ek. After having lunch in the city, we discover the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and then, it is good to stroll along the river.

Day 3: Phnom Penh to Kampong Thom (B,L)

Today, we take the journey from Phnom Phenh to Kampong Thom. The trip goes through peaceful countryside of Cambodia. The car will stop in Skuon where you can taste strange food that is sautéed spiders.
You come to visit a silk factory to learn how the local people produce the silk from starting to the end.

Enjoy lunch with the local food.

Discover Sambor Prei Kuk, the pre-Angkorian capital of the Chenla civilization, which is one of the most ancient temple cities in Southeast Asia. This temple is good to have the deeper history of the architecture development in Cambodia.

Day 4: Kampong Thom to Siem Reap (B,L)

You will welcome the morning in Kampong Thom. Then, start the excursion to Siem Reap on the road which used to be the way of trading and pilgrimage of the Angkor people.

Take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake which is the second largest freshwater one in the world. The lake takes very important role in the life of the Cambodian people, and where many fishes are found to supply for the local life. On the lake, we will visit the floating village to know more about the daily life.

Come to Siem Reap, and take your own time to explore the city.

Day 5: Siem Riep – Temples of Angkor (B)

Take a “tuk-tuk” to explore Angkor Wat from the East Gate entrance. After watching the sunlight over Angkor Wat, we move to the Angkor Thom complex, which includes Bayon temple, well-known for its stone head sculptures. Visit at jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm, one of the most attractive Angkorian temples.

In the afternoon, you will take your own time to explore Siem Riep, and go shopping to react with the local people.

Day 6: Siem Riep – visit temples (B)

We travel a little out of the city to visit two famous temples: Banteay Srei and Boeng Mealea.

On the way, we stop at a small village that makes palm sugar; this time is good chance to see how they make the sugar from palm trees. And, do not forget to stop at Aki Ra Landmine Museum.
